Enterprise Products Engineering in CNS achieves business growth and delivers world class software through these customer-focused, high-performing R&D teams, including 4LS/NPI for the following applications:

  • Nokia Core Enterprise Solutions – NCES
  • GSMR / FRMCS
  • NFaaS / WING
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Solutioning, design, deployment, configuration, integration, testing and upgrades of Packet Core products independently
  • Introduction and operation of the solution in customer networks as per NPI scope
  • Maintenance support of these products with timely resolution of issues
  • Creation and updates of project documentation, MOPs, incident RCAs, reports
  • Structured problem solving in collaboration with stakeholders across different organizations
  • Focused 4LS and NPI activities to ensure “right first time” deployments and “fast response” to issues in the field
  • Deployment of new products and cross-product solutions in response to business opportunities
  • Enabling Services team on implementation of Enterprise solutions
  • Dimensioning, Capacity, Hardware sizing

Technical skills

  • Around 7-10 years of experience in Engineering or Services of Packet Core portfolio
  • Proven expertise on Nokia NPC, CMM (MME, AMF), Nokia CMG (S/PGW-C, S/PGW-U), Nokia CMG (SMF, UPF), Nokia NRD (NRF)
  • Excellent knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE/IMS/5G networks, protocols and call flows
  • Experience in VNF / CNF / Helm-based deployments over NCP & fCaaS
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Shell, PERL, Python, Ansible)

  • Highly organized with strong focus on driving results
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, results oriented organization where teamwork and commitment to execution are essential
  • Excellent customer handling, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting skills and focus on continuous improvement
  • Passionate to walk extra mile and proactively contribute in initiatives that improve productivity, efficiency, customer-experience and employee engagement
