Job Responsibilities:
- Supports technical architecture, AI/ML and data design,
- Provides strategic decisions around the design of, investment in, and decommissioning of elements of the Home Lending Servicing Product that is created, provisioned, or consumed to support strategic business objectives, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, advanced analytics, business operations, and reporting.
- Collaborates with transformation leaders, designers, and developers to ensure that Home Lending Products leverage state-of-the-art cloud architecture while effectively navigating the firm’s current-state hybrid environment.
- Partners with aligned Data Owners, Data Scientists, and Analysts, to drive increased business value through the identification of data required to support advanced analytics outcomes such as customer segmentation, personalization, and AI/ML, including Generative AI models.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Empathetic communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders without authority
- Data driven, with the ability to query big data (on-prem & Cloud) and derive insights.
- Self-starter who is comfortable driving ambiguous projects with minimal guidance, while delivering updates to a large audience
- Experience in the use of data visualization tools and data analysis software.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution of data initiatives.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML use cases and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, etc.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- A Master's degree or PhD would be a plus
- Proven experience in a team manager role within a data-driven organization.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and deploying AI/ML models at scale. Advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Experience in product management, including the development and launch of new data products.
- Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with data governance and data privacy regulations.
