Job Description

The role of IT Infrastructure & Cloud Architect is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:

• Architect and design advanced cloud-based solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Lead the transformation of traditional IT infrastructure to cloud environments.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of data centre and cloud technologies, tools, and services.
• Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in cloud adoption efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
• Drive innovation and stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies.
• Lead the deployment and integration of data centre and cloud solutions.
• Should lead Solutioning and Pre-sales efforts on Data Centre, IT Infrastructure and Cloud related RFPs, RFIs and Proactive Proposals

Desired Profile

• A proven track record of hands-on technical work in Data Centre and cloud services for at least 12-14 years.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and architecture design.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, data storage solutions, BCP & DRP strategies, digital workplace solutions, and IT service management. and security protocols.
• String understanding on FinOps concepts and proficiency on FinOps tools
• Proficiency in cloud architecture frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in automation and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• A passion for mentoring and guiding teams towards achieving architectural excellence.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
