As a Senior quality engineering technician, you must define, measure, analyze, improve and control the product and process quality of the body shop as well as be able to create the required tools for this.

• React, define, assure, steer stakeholders and document the complete containment process when a problem arises in your responsibility area and support the team if needed for another areas.
• Monitoring part and process quality (Gemba), determining root cause of problems and implementing and maintaining corrective and preventive actions and countermeasures. Assure proper documentation trough the Jira system.
• Auditing the manufacturing facility against the approved manufacturing processes.
• Analyzing and definition of disposition of non-conforming parts as a member of the Material Review Board.
• Support Quality Engineer in risk assessment and mitigation.
• Support Quality Engineer in the development of quality requirements and control plans.
• Writing, maintaining and updating quality documentation as required.
• Be able to analyze and understand dimensional reports to take and support the steering of actions arising from those.
• Measurement and coordination of data obtaining.
• Continuous follow up of daily quality related KPI’s in order to react and work together with the Quality Engineer to bring those into the defined objective.
• Bring to management status quo of the quality on the line of responsibility proactively.
• Proactively push stakeholders for improvements needed, perform tests consciously, question the requirements.

• Bachelor's degree on Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification as well as relevant professional experience in production, quality management or in a process-oriented area of at least 2 years.
• Experience in mechanical inspection with precise measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, etc.) of at least 2 years on an automotive oriented company.
• Experience in setting up, configuring and validating individual part measurements, gap and offset measurements and tightness measurements.
• The ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of GD&T fundamentals and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and statistics.
• Experience on cold and hot joining techniques quality fundamentals, evaluation and releasing processes.
• Experience leading problem-solving teams on an operational level.
