About the Role
The Applications Account Executive is Focused on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Commerce Cloud Solutions, Grounded in Agentic AI.
Lead with AI + Data + CRM
- Position Salesforce as the strategic partner enabling AI-powered customer experiences, data-driven insights, and trusted customer relationships.
- Build and execute a multi-year, outcomes-focused strategic account plan that spans our full solution portfolio.
- Drive adoption across our core clouds: Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce, Tableau , and our trusted Platform .
Revenue Growth & Operational Excellence
- Consistently deliver high-quality ACV , AOV , and healthy pipeline.
- Lead the full sales cycle — from opportunity creation to close — while ensuring seamless handoffs to post-sales teams for customer success.
- Accurately forecast revenue and contribute to consumption growth.
Customer Trust & Executive Engagement
- Build trusted relationships at all levels — from hands-on practitioners to the C-suite .
- Act as a strategic advisor, helping your customer connect technology investments to their business goals and industry shifts.
- Proactively mitigate risks to protect revenue and drive long-term retention.
Product & Industry Mastery
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the Salesforce portfolio and its ability to drive innovation in global banking .
- Stay ahead of industry trends — understanding how regulations, economic pressures, and technology shifts impact your customer’s strategy.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Align the entire account team (Sales, Success, Services, Partners, Product) to your 360° vision for the customer.
- Share insights, set clear priorities, and foster a culture of collaboration and shared success.
- Advocate for your customer’s needs internally, influencing product strategy where necessary.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven success in a quota-carrying enterprise software sales role
- Track record of driving multi-million-dollar deals with complex account planning across global organisations.
- Ability to craft and articulate compelling value propositions that tie directly to business outcomes.
- Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with comfort presenting at C-level .
- Ability to leverage team selling to orchestrate resources across Sales, Success, Product, and Partners.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience selling CRM, data platforms, AI solutions, and digital transformation initiatives .
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment .
- Experience driving account governance and working with executive sponsors internally.
