Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must be pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus. Candidate must have one year of experience in the following: Programming (C++/Python), data analysis, CAD tool development and Linux environmentPreferred Qualifications: Minimum 6 months of experience in two of the following:1. implementing efficient data structures for software tool development2. implementing efficient (runtime and memory) algorithms to solve CAD/AI problems3. data analysis methods including statistical methods4. numerical algorithm design5. computational geometry algorithms6. database design for big dataRequirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
