RTR Accounting Specialist

- Prepare and review manual journal entries and ensure that bookings / accounting is accurately and timely maintained.
- Prepare/review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure all balances are correctly held and that adequate reconciliations are available with appropriate documentation.
- Maintain control, allocation, recording and physical verification processes for Philips fixed assets and Payroll accounting activities.
- Perform and deliver month end closing with quality
- Deliver financial statement analytical review from accounting perspective
- Verify compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Support the local ORUs in providing accurate and timely data for group consolidation & reporting (Month End Close).
- Provide accurate & timely data for fiscal reporting and other requirements.
- Complete Internal Controls work in accordance with the Internal Control Standard (ICS) tool on a timely and accurate basis.
- Assist in the preparation for and execution of internal and external audits
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance
- Minimum of +3 years of experience in accounting or a related field, +1 in RTR/GL is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP is preferred)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Fluent in English, Japanese is preferred
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
