Responsibilities include financial reporting on revenue, expenses and margin, and other operational improvements. The Assistant Director will also assist in WIP management and control, and revenue recognition, and will work closely with client serving individuals and other finance personnel in this regard.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assists Consulting and SaT leadership in the strategic delivery of the practice’s financial initiatives.
- Provides effective communication across Canada and with offshore support functions.
- Develops and prepares financial reports as required.
- Prioritizes tasks to accomplish Consulting and SaT goals and objectives.
- Participates in driving key initiatives that involve process or procedural change for the organization.
- Assists in the education of client serving individuals and support staff as appropriate.
- Creates and implements best practices for process improvement.
- Assists in the month-end P&L close.
- Performs other duties, as required.

To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of experience in a professional atmosphere in a finance/business capacity with forecasting and budgeting experience
- Professional designation, such as CPA, is strongly preferred
- Proficient in the use of standard software, including MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
- Proficiency with SAP is an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Effectively listens and teaches new skills to others
- Aptitude for dealing with complex systems issues

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $85,100 to $141,900. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
