Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers while overseeing project work and completion
• Design, develop, in-house test, and commission/maintain a Honeywell DCS based system at the client location
• Develop DCS Logic and Interface software applications compliant with customer/company specifications and applicable industry standards
• Develop and execute test procedures
• Configure Honeywell Visualization (HMI)
• Develop documentation such as Functional Specification, Control Narrative, I/O List, Cause and Effect, Operations Manual, and Testing Procedure
• Utilize knowledge of network architecture and control communication protocols
• Specify and configure plant-specific instrumentation
• Design control systems including block diagrams, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
• Provide remote support and troubleshooting of systems after installation
• Work onsite for multiple client locations in a regional area (Beaumont, TX to Baton Rouge, LA 180-mile radius) from Monday through Friday

• Be available for off-hour "Emergency On-Call" as needed
• Specification and configuration of plant-specific instrumentation

Must Have

• 4+ years of experience with control methodology in DCS, PLC, and HMI
  platforms
• Knowledge of network architecture and control communication protocols
• Ability to independently design, develop, in-house test, and commission a
  system at the client location
• Strong electronics/instrumentation background
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% of time

• Experion PKS Hardware & Software (Highly desired)
• 3rd party controls (Emerson, Yokagawa, ABB, Bailey, Siemens, etc.)
• Knowledge of multiple control communication protocols such as EthernetIP, Modbus, OPC/DA, OPC/UA, Profibus/net, CIP, DLR
• Experience with software configuration, migration, project engineering, virtualization, cyber process control, electrical, or other application experience
• Associates or bachelor's degree in technical/engineering field strongly preferred
• Project management experience (budget control, schedules, resource allocation, reporting)
• Detailed process control knowledge
• Experience working with electronic test equipment
• Strong understanding and experience with various programming languages
