Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ongoing communication of ERM Operating Model with business, risk and other internal stakeholders

  • Engage ERM execution personnel to understand updates to individual enterprise program frameworks and incorporate appropriate revisions to ERM Operating Model

  • Monitor updates, progress and challenges associated with execution goals with respect to the ERM operating Model.

  • Assist the team in identification and resolution of OCC Article VI issues, working with the dedicated project / program management individuals and other stakeholders.

  • Assist the IA validation effort with relation to OCC Article VI & FRB Para 3 related commitments.

  • Aid closure of Regulatory Commitments by assisting the team lead in drafting Scoping Documents for OCC Article VI & FRB Para 3b level commitments.

  • Deliver specific ad-hoc analysis and tactical support in preparation for senior stakeholder and management meetings.

  • Contribute towards a larger goal of a fully integrated enterprise risk management framework.

  • Identify opportunities to add value beyond the scope of formal projects.

  • Establish and leverage cross-functional partnerships and network with key internal constituencies.

  • Liaison between MCA controls team and Transformation team to aid the bank wide MCA uplift program.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • An individual who is experienced in managing complex and large-scale changing initiatives,

  • Experience in working with senior level internal stakeholders.

  • Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal relationships with ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Collaborative work style; effectively interacts with partners across organizational boundaries/hierarchies.

  • Displays a leadership presence; commands respect and will earn trust of senior leaders.

  • Good understanding of banking products and risk environment

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in financial services

  • Project planning and management experience

  • Prior consulting/banking experience

  • Understanding banking and risk management

  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize information and drive results with a sense of urgency

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, master’s degree in finance, Economics Preferred
