Responsibilities*
GFC is seeking a highly motivated leader with strategic responsibilities that span across the organization, including:
- Working closely with Global Finance Head, GFC COO and the Senior Leadership Team to support strategic objectives across all CFO LOBs through communications, employee engagement, etc.
- Design and execution of strategic initiatives and the business case developments
- Coordinate relevant Global strategic initiatives for all CFO LOBs to drive and developing Senior Executive level presentations and communications, executing on ad hoc priorities
- Overseeing the preparation and communication of relevant materials & talking points for all Global senior leadership meetings, including Executive Reviews, town halls, extended leadership team
- Develop strong governance and control mechanism to drive closure of annual goals and action plans from strategy meetings
- Developing strong influential partnerships with COO teams across CFO, as well as with Senior Leadership Team to drive strategy
- Demonstrating excellent organizational, program management and collaboration skills to deliver output of the highest quality across multiple, concurrent projects and tight timelines
- Manage key business support efforts related to business continuity and recovery
- Create mechanism for tracking and sharing CFO progress updates and CFO Journey for various GBS and global forums
- Drive end to end Location Strategy and India Down initiatives for all Global Finance employees at GBS
- Create skill inventory and Drive Talent Development initiatives
- To facilitate the GBS teams to critically review current processes for effectiveness, quality and simplification
- To support and drive the development of the role of our India team locally and globally
Foundational Skills*
- Very Strong MS PowerPoint and good Excel skills – Should be able to create exec presentations
- Knowledge of the Global Financial Control organization and key functions
- 5+ years accounting or finance work experience
- Program management - Strong governance and executor that is able to drive progress on priorities and issues and achieve sustainable results
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and influence across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to establish and develop interpersonal relationships
- Strong collaborative skills within multiple levels of the organization, cross-functional teams, and across multiple work locations
- Creative problem-solving and negotiating that ensures a balance between presenting the most current information and meeting steadfast deadlines while managing risk
- Must be detail oriented (e.g. ability to identify anomalies within large sets of data and track multiple action items in detail)
