Verification Engineer
Job Description

Philips CT/AMI R&D team is located in Cleveland, Haifa, Suzhou, Shenyang, Bangalore and Pune with clear ownership and responsibilities for Pune site. CT/AMI India Product Engineering group is responsible for CT and AMI products life cycle management.

Your role:

• Assist in the design and execution of tests for mechanical/electrical components and systems used in medical devices

• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and troubleshoot design and performance issues

• Perform analysis and documentation of test results and communicate findings to the broader team

• Contribute to the development and implementation of verification testing protocols and procedures

• Support the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes

• Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards related to medical device development and testing

you have:

• Master/bachelor’s in mechanical engineering
• 2-4 years of experience as mechanical designer/verification engineer preferred
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively and present findings clearly and concisely
• Interest in and commitment to working in the medical device industry
• Familiarity with medical device regulatory requirements, such as FDA regulations and ISO standards
• Knowledge of materials testing and characterization techniques
• Strong academic background with a focus on mechanical design and analysis
• Familiarity with CAD software and mechanical design principles
