Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
As a part of the use cases we deliver to our customers, we are required to deliver full-stack features from conception to ship. As a student, you will be working closely with our team, embedded in our sprints to help enable our customers and deliver our 24.12 software release.
As part of our team, you will:
- Learn about Nokia's Optical Network Automation Solutions
- Gain hands-on experience with Java Programming in a consumer-grade application
- Help improve our user interface
- Develop skills in DevOps practices, Time Series Databases, APIs
- Comfortable working with Linux operating systems
- Experience with Java, JavaScript (React, Typescript), and familiarity with programming concepts
- Scripting (bash, Perl, Python, etc.)
- Familiarity with Influx & Telegraph, Docker, and Ansible would be an asset.
