Job Purpose
The ideal IT Process Engineer candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and organizational skills and a proven track record of delivering process improvements with demonstrated quality and/or value increases. This person will work directly with management to analyze, improve, and implement IT processes and tools to improve quality and create value. They will have hands-on responsibility for owning and/or improving a wide variety of technology processes by identifying and finding efficiencies for large scale IT infrastructure solutions, as well as developing, maintaining, and analyzing technological KPIs. Excellent communication skills are required as this will be in a highly visible role interfacing with management to present metrics and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop, optimize, and sustain technology processes
- Evaluate and document existing processes while defining key metrics
- Identify and execute process improvements to reduce process errors, improve process results, increase quality, and/or create value
- Leverage data analytics, information from stakeholders, and performance visualizations for ongoing analysis and driving continuous improvements
- Leverage automation tools to automate manual processes
- Leverage existing industry tools and best practices for process improvements
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience in a process improvement role (ideally in a technology organization)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry (banking, aerospace, automotive, etc.)
- Experience using Artificial Intelligence to improve process efficiency
- Experience using ServiceNow
- Experience with Tableau or PowerBI
