Job Summary
As a Trade Finance Supplier Sales Senior Associate within our Trade and Working Capital team, you will be instrumental in supporting the EMEA Supply Chain Finance business. Your role will involve close collaboration with Program Managers and you will be assigned a portfolio of programs to promote enrolment activity. You will be part of the Supply Chain Finance Supplier Sales team, tasked with actively marketing the early payment solution to suppliers, engaging with the buyer organization, and managing the supply chain finance programs within the region. You will also help grow the Core Trade business by marketing Export Letter of Credit related products to non-clients. In addition you will be involved in enhancing the client experience through a continual review of end-to-end process improvement, tools, and organizational structure to determine what we need to do to make it easier to acquire, onboard, and serve clients.
Job responsibilities:
- Deliver a superior client experience while driving Supply Chain Finance programme ramp to achieve revenue growth for the Global Trade business
- Design and execute a supplier enrolment/sales strategy and calling plan for each respective assigned program
- Partner with the program manager for each respective program to provide relevant insights into program growth, supplier participation patterns, and other observed trends
- Manage ongoing strategic supplier relationships, identifying and solutioning any issues or risks
- Assist in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier engagement and program success
- Work closely with counterparts in other regions to coordinate activities that involve multi-regional engagement
- Facilitate requests and inquiries with cross functional partners in Client Service, Operations, Contracts Management, Product, and others
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in all supplier-related activities, escalating accordingly within the Risk and Control framework
- Support the execution of several critical in-flight technology initiatives designed around improving our efficiency and effectiveness of the supplier sales process
- Contact beneficiaries of letters of credits advised through J.P. Morgan to offer discounting and confirmation services and liaise with the Financial Institutions team to agree pricing and terms
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- You will be able to demonstrate the relevant level of experience in Sales, Product or Client Service with proven active client facing experience
- Previous Trade Finance knowledge not a requirement but desire to learn about the business is a must
- Comfortable with direct sales and working to new business targets
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to quickly build new relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- English and German oral and written language skills

- Degree level education or proven experience in a similar role.
