As a Solutions Architect at AWS, you’ll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.Key job responsibilities
You will manage the overall technical relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, cost, performance, reliability and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.You will also:
- You will build the technical relationship with customers and operate as their trusted advisor. The best interests of the customer will shape the guidance you provide.
- Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS features.
- You will participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. whitepapers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos or conferences).
- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by hiring, coaching and mentoring others.

- 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture or DevOps across industries.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges
- Experience in managing complex sales processes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience
- Business level English communication skills, written and verbal
