Key Responsibilities:
- SASE Customer Engagements : Build advisory relationships with strategic accounts focusing on SASE solutions. Engage with technology leaders such as Architects, CTOs, and CIOs to lead discussions on SASE architecture and implementation strategies. Support customers alongside Sales and Solution Engineering teams through the entire opportunity lifecycle, ensuring a SASE-first approach.
- Strategy Development: Take part in crafting and executing strategies that position Fortinet as a leader in the SASE space. Identify business objectives and participate in creating competitive strategies. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align Fortinet's SASE offerings with market demands and future trends.
- SASE Solution Design and Proof : Oversee and conduct demonstrations of SASE solutions, ensuring Fortinet's offerings are well-positioned against competitors. Customize solutions to meet complex customer requirements, emphasizing the integration of SASE components for a seamless security posture.
- Educational Leadership: Serve as a SASE thought leader, creating readiness plans and identifying training opportunities for peers. Lead by example in tech communities by sharing best practices, delivering content at industry events, and acting as a mentor.
What you bring:
- Strong background in cybersecurity, specifically with experience in SASE domain from startups, hyperscalers, or the high-tech industry.
- Proven track record of establishing deep technical and strategic relationships with senior executives, business owners, and key decision-makers.
- Good working knowledge of the SASE components including, but not limited to, advanced networking (SD-WAN, Data Center), cloud (public, private and SaaS) security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Next-Gen FW, advanced threats, endpoint security and Data Security.
- Comfortable with open-source technology ecosystems and contemporary cloud security technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud-based and on-premises implementations, migration strategies, and comprehensive security management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity solutions, SASE architecture, consulting, or related cloud/security technologies;
Master's Degree in the same fields plus 6+ years of experience;
Equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive experience with SASE architecture, including cloud and on-premises infrastructures, migration strategies, and technology management.
- 6+ years of customer-facing experience in technical pre-sales, technical consulting, or technology delivery, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and SASE solutions.
- CISSP preferred, with additional certifications like CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or relevant SASE certifications considered favorably.
