As a Summer Intern - Design Engineer, Hardware you will work in a team implementing hardware changes to our flag ship CARESCAPE/Canvas patient monitoring devices. The design changes are electrical and electromechanical to improve product quality or manufacturability. You’ll work with experienced experts in the health care technology industry – in a team with great spirit. The Engineering team is located at Helsinki site, Finland.
Responsibilities

• Be part of a team working on component, electrical board changes and enhancements to support our embedded CARESCAPE/Canvas Patient monitoring systems manufacturing

• Perform engineering product testing, verification and report test results

• Analyze component change requests’ impact to products

Qualifications and experience

• Studying for master’s degree in in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent knowledge

• Experience with electrical components, design and manufacturing/suppliers

• You are a team player with analytical thinking and working practices

• Fluency in English, both spoken and written

Desired Characteristic

• Interest or experience in medical technology and desire to develop an systems design expert

• Good communication skills
