Learn practical application of engineering principles, understand design changes and achieve expertise in product life cycle change management. For this position, it would be ideal to have prior experience in product safety and regulatory, life cycle management of subsystems and system parts in medical devices.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed data analysis of field and factory performances of Xray Generators and Tubes, including: Defects Per Unit (DPU) analysis, Field failure trend analysis, Early and life failure analysis, Root cause analysis, Process improvement, Project management, Analytical thinking and attention to detail, Data interpretation and visualization

  • Implement and maintain a robust problem-solving process for identifying root causes of performance issues.

  • Perform advanced statistical data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and insights in product performance data.

  • Conduct process variance analysis to identify areas for improvement in manufacturing and field operations.

  • Carry out model period-based data analysis to track performance changes over time and across different product iterations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of performance issues and develop effective solutions.

  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve product performances in both field and factory settings.

  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement in product quality and reliability.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data analysis techniques and tools relevant to the medical imaging industry.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Master's/Bachelor's degree in Engineering with strong experience Statistical analysis tools, Data Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics , preferably in a manufacturing or medical device industry.

  • Familiarity with machine learning and predictive modeling techniques.

  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, Tableau, Power BI).

  • Experience with quality management systems and methodologies.

  • Experience with X-ray technology, CT scanners, or medical imaging systems.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the medical device industry (e.g., FDA, ISO).

  • Six Sigma Black belt / Green Belt certification preferred
