Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial environments and demonstrated ability to manage and maintain client relationships effectively
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field with at least 5 years experience in a sales role in Advertising / Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field with 5 years proven experience in Sales and Advertising/Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales
    • OR solid experience in Sales and Advertising/Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales with a minimum experience of 5 years
  • Demonstrated experience in search, display, and/or programmatic advertising.
  • Effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client management.
  • Skilled in using data to influence through engaging presentations and clear written communications.
  • Technology Passion: Enthusiasm for technology as a driver of client and company growth.
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity, communications skills and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to understand client needs and deliver customized, data-driven, client-focused pitches and solutions.
  • Curiosity about the evolving advertising industry
  • The role will be for the Nordics market and therefore fluent English is required. Proficiency in a second Nordic language or Dutch is advantageous.
Responsibilities
  • Leverage customer engagement strategies to build solid relationships with clients. Act as a subject matter expert on industry and competitive knowledge that includes current and emerging trends.
  • Own the day-to-day management for newly onboarded & existing clients, execute of campaigns, and coordinate with internal resources for execution of core tasks.
  • Pursue optimizations to deliver quota expectations, drive campaign-level budget upsell and optimization opportunities that align to ROI goals of the client and drive incremental revenue, and leverage internal insights and tool-directed tactics to inform and prioritize upsells and optimisations, seeking to drive swift implementation.
  • Be a fluent advocate of the Microsoft Advertising, educate clients on how the Microsoft Advertising platform and existing features help them to reach their business goals and execute on budgets, ensure regular client engagement with the Microsoft Advertising platform, and aim to reduce client reliance on AM for routine tasks. Utilize all available readiness and insights to ensure fluent advocacy of the Microsoft Advertising and One Microsoft story.
  • Ensure timely and proactive management of client escalations by effectively leveraging Account Executive and internal partner network to resolve day-to-day technical and account escalations and revenue blockers and partner with account team to submit actionable feedback on product, tools and processes through relevant channels.
  • Continually strengthen Microsoft Advertising and Digital Media Industry expertise, take personal accountability for career and personal development.
