Job responsibilities

• Authors strategic data models for to further the Finance Technology data strategy initiatives - concentrating specifically in GFTP space.
• Delivers scalable data pipeline solutions that include: data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way
• Implements solutions that follow current guidelines and guardrails outlined to cloud based data solutions.
• Educate business partners and provide options and solutions that promote self-service rather than having a constant technology dependency.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 + years development experience working Data Engineering
• Extensive ETL experience required this could be across various products
• Working experience with both relational and NoSQL databases​
• Experience and proficiency across the data lifecycle
• Experience with database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy
• Proficient knowledge of linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms
• Proficient data modeling skill required
• Data Engineering experience using products such as databricks, snowflake, spark, and/or other could based databases.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Data Engineering using cloud based LLM tools a plus
• Extensive Business Intelligence experience a plus
