As a Client Service Specialist (CSS) in the International Private Banking Client Service team, you will be the primary contact for all service related needs of a Private Banking client such as cash management and transfers. You will work with bankers, investment advisors, various product specialists and operations teams to deliver a seamless and integrated experience to our clients across all Private Banking services.

Job responsibilities

  • Ensure necessary documentation is complete
  • Review and managing clients' daily cash positions
  • Manage daily client transactions and inquiries accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedures (e.g., mutual funds purchases/redemptions, securities free deliveries/receipts, FX, cash wires, account transactions inquiries, etc.)
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times and developing intimacy with client
  • Work as a partner with the integrated team (Bankers, Investment Advisors, etc.)
  • Research, follow up and resolve client inquiries and problems through effective interaction with clients, bankers, investment advisors, product specialists, operations areas, and other employees in a timely and professional manner
  • Research potential (or actual) fraud situations, errors, and losses to ensure prompt and accurate resolution
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and escalate to bankers and product partners in order to provide advice to the client or to conclude a transaction
  • Verify and maintain data quality as it relates to internal and external client hierarchy and account alignment
  • Participate in special projects as assigned by Team Manager

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • At least 3 years experience in the Financial Services and/or Banking industry
  • Proven client management skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Effective communication both orally and in writing, internal and external to the Bank
  • Ability to multi-task, manage pressure, prioritize and remain detail-oriented
  • Fluent written and spoken English & Spanish required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Any other languages is an asset, in particular French
