What you'll do...
What you'll do:
- Provide technical leadership for an agile development team of 4-5 engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, Market Operations) to gather requirements, create software design specifications and high level estimates.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs, micro services and components using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, RDBMS, NoSQL DB etc
- Utilize public cloud tools and resources to scale storage and computations in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure and to improve performance and cost reduction.
- Perform design and code reviews, suggest improvements to ensure the highest level of quality and maintainability
- Oversee development lifecycles, Analyze application logs, maintenance activity data, performance data and provide analysis; Evaluate change requests to identify those which are valid and feasible
What you'll bring:
- Master's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3+ year of experience in software engineering or related area
- (OR) Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 7+ years of experience in software engineering or related area
- Strong background in Technical Solutions Architecture and Design
- Strong API design, development, and management experience
- Strong Java, Spring Boot experience
- Experience working with relational databases including MySQL or PostgreSQL and non-relational databases including Cassandra , Cosmos or MongoDB
- Strong experience in RESTful Microservices and Container technologies such as Docker on Kubernetes
- Experience building high throughput, low latency asynchronous applications using Kafka and other messaging frameworks
- Experience working on public cloud providers including Azure or GCP
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps
- Experience working in a KPI driven highly agile environment

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
