The Compensation Sr Manager accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.Responsibilities:

  • Aids in ensuring that the firm has competitive and cost effective reward policies and practices.
  • Responsible for developing and executing the firm's reward strategy, managing the key areas of reward, benefits and pensions and liaising with third parties to develop a consistent best practice approach.
  • Ensures that reward practices are compliant with the relevant regulatory recommendations and requirements.
  • Provides HR consultation, advice, knowledge and expertise to HR Advisors and business managers on compensation, HRMS, reward and recognition related issues.
  • Manages annual compensation planning process for a business unit(s) including: salary increases, bonuses, stock awards and other compensation related expenses, will collaborate with other disciplines such as tax, legal, finance, and technology, and impacts compensation end results through project management and client relationships.   • Works with Compensation Manager to ensure consistent compensation policies and practices are applied across all employees.
  • Provides HR consultation and responds to inquiries from HR Partners on compensation, HRMS, reward and recognition related issues
  • Applies technical expertise in Compensation principles, practices and procedures in the completion of assignments
  • Impacts compensation end results through project management and client relationships
  • Partners and consults with HR Generalist, Citigroup Employee Services and other Senior Compensation team members to implement and deliver on projects
  • Manages multiple projects across multiple teams and has the ability to influence decisions
  • Manages market data process including surveys, individual benchmarking, and presentation of results to Senior Managers
  • Provides project management and program execution for new compensation policies and pay management across the business
  • Assists with onboarding and separation process with regards to reward for assigned business as needed
  • Coordinates annual compensation process for salary review and incentive awards
  • Conducts benchmarking, market, and internal equity analysis
  • Partners with regional colleagues to ensure global consistency
  • Manages a team or multiple teams of Compensation professionals; responsible for hiring, compensation, performance appraisals, staff development, training, etc.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

-Experiencia en manejo de datos e información, perfil orientado a Data.

-Manejo de reportes y seguimiento con Senior Management.

-Seguimiento y Liderazgo de equipos.

-Manejo de paquetería Office (Excel avanzado, manejo de presentaciones)

-Manejo de inglés de intermedio – avanzado.

-Perfil analítico, comunicación, atención al detalle, organización, trabajo bajo presión.
