Your key responsibilities
- BigID Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of BigID for organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data sources, set up data connectors, and configure data discovery and classification rules.
- Customize and fine-tune BigID workflows and processes to align with organizational requirements.
- Data Privacy and Compliance:
- Utilize BigID's capabilities to assess and manage data privacy risks.
- Develop and enforce data privacy policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Data Governance and Protection:
- Define and implement data governance strategies and best practices using BigID.
- Establish data retention policies and procedures to support regulatory requirements.
- Monitor data access, usage, and permissions to mitigate data security risks.
- Technical Support and Training:
- Provide technical expertise and support to users of the BigID platform.
- Conduct training sessions to educate internal stakeholders on BigID functionalities and best practices.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to BigID.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in data privacy and data governance practices.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and optimize the usage of BigID within the organization.
- Proactively propose innovative solutions to improve data privacy and governance processes.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in supporting Data Protection/ Privacy Technology.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in two or more of the following:
- Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Data Discovery/ Classification Technology Or Privacy
- Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices, such as GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy frameworks
- Extensive experience working with BigID, including implementation, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in data discovery, classification, and metadata management.
- Familiarity with data security and access control concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to independently research and solve technical issues.
- Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment.
- Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance.
- Ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment.
- Extend required support for any reported data protection and privacy incidents such as information breaches and leakages.
- Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Professional certificate or be actively pursuing related professional certifications such as the BigID Professional, BigID Expert, CISSP, CIPP/E or other Vendor/Technical certification.
- To expect some weekend work and 20%-30% travel based on job requirement.
