Reporting to the Section Leader – Civil & Aviation, you will provide consistent leadership and role modelling of Jacobs’ core values, fostering an inclusive and diverse culture across the PU that embodies Jacobs’ Culture of Caring and prioritises the health and wellbeing of people.You will set clear direction regarding client focus and responsiveness and will help to ensure we can identify and anticipate client needs.
The Design Manager – Responsible for providing engineering design management and project leadership to the Transport sector.
Contribute to marketing opportunities for new business. Project manage design and/or construction projects in accordance with Jacobs systems and processes. Compliance with all requirements of design quality system. Work with Sales, and relevant Section Leaders to implement Jacobs Client Relationship Strategy. Maintain and build on existing client relationships. Support and promote a strong service delivery to internal and external clients.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering
- Experience in similar role. Work experience in consulting environment (preferred)
- Team player, strong interpersonal and communications skills,
- Proactive and business minded
