Financial Reporting Analyst – Market Risk
As part of the team of diverse and supportive professionals, the main tasks are concerned with accurate preparation of reports in accordance with the local regulatory requirement, improvement of processes and ensure compliance with the control guidelines.
What you’ll do:
- Production & delivery of daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory returns and monitoring reports
- Maintenance and further enhancement of controls & reports including reconciliations, adjustments & variance analysis
- Ongoing review and development of current processes to increase efficiency
- Provide support to country Finance teams on an ad-hoc basis (e.g. audits, regulatory inquiries)
- Liaise with multiple departments of the covered countries (including Financial Control, Treasury, Risk and Technology departments) to resolve issues
What we’ll need from you:
- 1-2 years of previous experience required
- Good analytical skills
- Good understanding of Accounting & Finance principles, Financial Markets and product knowledge is an advantage
- Knowledge of VBA, Python, Knime, SQL is an advantage
- University/College degree in finance/accounting
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
