Managed Services (MSE) is responsible for keeping the network running and proposing / conducting network upgrades based on business requirements. Covers technical managing and operating of agreed components of IT and telecommunications services provided to end users of Nokia customers, within contracts agreed with those customers.
Skills and Experience
Responsibilities:
Huawei BSC/RNC and BTS3900 Upgrades, CR Creation & Execution & L2 Support
- Perform software upgrades for Huawei/Ericsson BSC/RNC 6910.
- Conduct hardware upgrades for Huawei/Ericsson equipment.
- Ensure the stability and integrity of the network during upgrades.
- Verify and test upgraded systems to ensure they meet performance standards.OMU OS Upgrade
- Plan and execute OMU OS upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising during the upgrade process.
- Ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance post-upgrade.
Ericsson BSC RNC and Site Upgrades and L2 Support
- Perform upgrades for Ericsson BSC & RNC.
- Conduct pre- and post-upgrade testing and validation.
Change and Fault Management
- Handle all change management activities including documentation and roll-back plans.
- Monitor network performance and diagnose faults using various monitoring tools.
- Provide quick and efficient troubleshooting for network faults and issues.
- Create detailed reports on incidents and resolutions.
Documentation and Reporting
- Document all upgrade and change activities accurately.
- Maintain records of software and hardware configurations.
- Report on network performance and any identified issues.
