Key responsibilities of the person in this role will include:
Work with Cash trading businesses to understand key functional and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with the other members of OMS leadership team to extend the existing low latency service-oriented architecture to “high touch” OMS use cases for Program Trading and D1 desks.
Integrate the OMS with the strategic services to manage limits, controls, entitlements, sales & trading coverage.
Be instrumental in the design and implementation of integrated automated testing system.
Build integrated instrumentation and support tools.
Deliver the new consolidated OMS and retire the legacy technology stack.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Strong knowledge of Java, Pub/Sub middleware, and databases.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Good written and oral communication skills
Good understanding of Equities Single-Stock / Delta One/ ETF/ Program Trading business.
Experience with Building controls for automated trading.
Strong knowledge of FIX protocol as applied to trading and RFQ.
Experience with software monitoring tools and instrumentation.
Expert level engineer in software development with at least 10 years of server side development experience.
Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant field and solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (date structures, algorithms, design patterns, etc.)
