The business analyst is responsible for driving deep insights about our business for our business leaders and driving continuous improvement using the data. The person should have a detailed understanding of a business requirement or the ability to quickly get to the root cause of a particular business issue, and draft solutions to meet requirements or resolve the root problems. You will work closely with program managers, business intelligence engineers and product managers to analyze massive data sets, identify areas to improve, define metrics to measure and monitor programs, and most importantly work with different stakeholders to drive improvements over time. You will also work closely with internal business teams to extract or mine information from our existing systems to create new analysis, and expose data from our group to wider teams in intuitive ways.Key job responsibilities
Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. within SQL, self-service data tools and Quicksight.Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable formatWrite concise documents communicating results to stakeholders and visualize data to drive decision makingA day in the life
As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will use Redshift SQL to create queries and pull data into Quicksight to create powerful visualisations. You will also be expected to understand the metrics we report on and why they were implemented in the way they were in order to provide feedback to your stakeholders. You will also play a key role in the development of a reliable and scalable data platform, as well as a suite of self-service applications for ongoing reporting and analytics.Hyderabad, TS, IND

• 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 2+ years of Experience with SQL or ETL
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Advanced Excel skills with experience writing complex VBA macros.

• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience analyzing large datasets and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc.
