As a Test Technician Level 2 - Aerospace here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective test engineering practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to conduct tests, analyze results, and provide valuable insights for product improvements. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall enhancement of our solutions. You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Kanata, ON location. In this role, you will impact the success of our testing activities and the quality of our products.

• Test and troubleshoots aftermarket, repairs & overhaul electronic assemblies at the circuit card level and at system level, including thermal testing at system level
• Maintain and calibrate test set- ups
• Perform required electrical testing, repairs, settings and/or alignments using precision measuring equipment
• Implement methods and procedures in order to facilitate and improve work quality
• Experience with testing of Analog and Digital Electronics
• Uses a schematic for troubleshooting of Printed Circuit Assemblies and Systems
• Learn new testing procedures to rapidly bring new products to production
• Responsible for all paperwork associated with his/her tasks (technical data, reports, supporting documents, etc.)
• Operate assigned equipment
• Support the Honeywell Operating System
• Record and report production data
• Maintain assigned work areas

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in test engineering or related roles
• Strong knowledge of test methodologies and tools
• Experience in conducting tests and analyzing results
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with test automation tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
