Azure E+ Pis looking to hire anAzure Edge and Platform Software Engineer IIto be on point for designing and implementing the next-generationEdge + Platformproducts andservices foracross the globe. This person will need to be technically sound, with in-depth knowledge and experience inanalyzing data and requirements,and releasing services or products to end users.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experienceindeveloping and designingOperating Systemscomponentslike filesystems,Storageand kernel
• Experience in implementinglarge scale,lowlatencyand high-qualitydistributedsystems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure,AWSor similar cloud computing platforms.
• Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying,maintainingonline services.
• Knowledge in Agile engineering practices (Continuous Integration, TDD)

be responsible fordesigning and implementing high-performance components or services for Azure Edge and Devices. As part of this team, you will lead the transformation ofconcepts into concrete designs and oversee their implementation to realize the vision.

In close collaboration with Azure partners and customers, you will assess requirements,establish goodpractices, influence our designs, and address production issues. Your responsibilities will also encompass the design, implementation, and management of complex big data anddistributed services.
