Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in privacy operations, compliance, and/or risk management experience.
- 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- Experience conducting privacy reviews, managing privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs), and evaluating engineering or product privacy posture.
- Experience translating privacy requirements and regulations into actionable engineering plans that will influence technical design and infrastructure considerations.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
- Relevant certification or equivalent a plus (e.g., International Organization for Standardization [ISO] Lead Auditor, International Association of Privacy Professionals [IAPP], Certified Information Privacy Professional [CIPP], Certified Information Systems Security [CISSP]).
- Technical fluency in cloud services (e.g., Azure), data security concepts (e.g., encryption, access control), responsible data use principles, and AI/ML data governance.
- Experience working with Microsoft Security technologies, solutions/services interactions and interdependencies.
- Experience with and awareness of emerging privacy and data governance related regulations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft’s privacy ecosystem and internal tooling.
