•Connecting with customers, prospects, and other market stakeholders to identify needs, validate market requirements, quantify opportunities, and then translate these into detailed product requirements for development.
• Helping prioritize requirements based on data, to maximize development investments and build an aggressive roadmap.
• Performing market/competitor analysis to identify (and promote) unique IBM competencies
• Supporting senior Product Managers in building offering packages and pricing appropriate to market conditions.
• Building clear messaging that will fuel sales and marketing assets in support of launching an offering into the market.
• Maintaining a current understanding of industry and technology trends to ensure IBM maintains a strong vision and future roadmap.
•Experience in Product Management or technical product marketing•Demonstrated experience presenting to customers and/or speaking at public events.
•Effective communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to adapt communication style for a broad range of audiences
•Technical understanding of what it takes to modernize application workloads
•Technical understanding of WebSphere, MQ, Db2 and IBM Cloud services
•Experience of analyzing the financial aspects of product development and delivery
