Key Areas of Responsibility:
- AFCS Flight Guidance, Flight Controls, Virtual Guidance Panel or Maintenance Systems design
- Requirement analysis and decomposition
- Model based development
- Systems integration
- Systems validation & verification
- Work with other systems/software engineers during developing and integrating solutions for Honeywell Anthem product as well as for Honeywell customers
- Close cooperation with Lead engineer to plan, report and deliver your tasks in Agile project environment
- Responsibility at the level of AFCS function subsystems
- Respect and follow all requirements of other internal Honeywell procedures and processes which influence stated working activities
- Participate on mentoring, coaching, training, and developing other engineers
- Cooperate with process focal on guidelines and processes improvement, tailoring and definition
- Collaboration with domestic and international teams and customers including possible ground or flight test activities
- Actively support Internal and External Audits
Experienceand Education Required:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering/Controls Systems/Aeronautical Studies
- 6+ years of System development experience with emphasis on Control systems – Flight Controls preferred
EssentialProfessional Skills and Knowledge:
- Understanding of cockpit systems, especially Flight Controls and Fight Guidance/Director Control Laws
- Advanced knowledge of systems development lifecycle
- Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
- Knowledge of how to write a clear, concise requirement that can be effectively validated and verified, and meets certification requirements
- Skilled in Matlab/Simulink
- Knowledge of DO-178B/C standard
- Knowledge of C or any scripting language (e.g., Python) is a plus
