EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Manage financial performance of an Engineering unit
- Actively lead various activities to ensure overall financial performance, such as quarter end close, financial forecasting, budgeting
- Safeguard financial compliance
- Evaluation and monitoring of key financial risks and impact factors on supported business
- Engage in preparation and financial validation of strategic and operational business cases
- Interact directly with top management in supported business unit and Controlling
- Actively drive improvements for the Engineering Controlling
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree and/or MBA in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Knowledge in SAP BW and other common analytics applications is a plus
- Ability to present analysis to senior management
- Ability to drive complex topics in a global organization
- Accuracy and ability to prioritize topics and their financial impact
- Very strong analytical skills, conceptual and structured thinking
- Strong personal commitment and stress resistance
- Self-managed, high customer orientation
- Ready for successful teamwork and hands-on work on senior management reporting
- Business level English
Work experience
- Professional work experience with focus on Finance / Controlling is a plus
