Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Request Management: Own assigned customer requests, ensuring they are analysed, tested, and responded to objectively.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintain comprehensive documentation regarding various projects and processes.
  • Requirements Identification: Identify requirements and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis: Gather, review, and analyse business and industry data, including internal datasets and external applications.
  • Solution Improvement Assessment: Assess options for solution improvements, including business process and data modelling.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor live production systems, focusing on key service objectives to ensure optimal performance.
  • Log Analysis: Run system and application logs to identify issues raised for each application.
  • Technical Issue Identification: Identify technical issues related to applications, performance, and system integrations.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with development teams to diagnose and resolve issues impacting applications.
  • Incident Resolution: Ensure timely and accurate resolution of incidents and service requests.
  • Post-Incident Review: Participate in post-incident reviews and contribute to root cause analysis.
  • Process Improvement: Engage in support processes and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison: Liaise with cross-functional development teams and project managers to ensure seamless communication and resolution of issues.

Skills and Attributes:

  • At least 4 years of experience in a support role.
  • Strong business analysis skills and qualifications.
  • Highly skilled in troubleshooting and debugging Java applications.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, databases (Oracle, SQL Server), and web technologies.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS.
  • Proficient with tools such as Jira, Maven, and SonarQube.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced situations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to client satisfaction.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow and AzureDevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL certification.
  • Cloud certifications.
