Excellent knowledge in Oracle (11g & above)
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL programming skills
Sound knowledge and hands on experience of Perfomance tuning and trouble shooting of production database systems.
Experience in large/enterprise database infrastructures migrations
Experience in application data migration, porting and version upgrades across different RDBMS using tools such as bcp, SQL *Loader, etc.,
Experience on High Availability Systems that utilizesReplication/Mirroringstandards/approach across Oracle databases
Experience in understanding and implementing policies and defined data security standards both from technical (RDBMS – database) and organizational point of view
For applications running on Oracle RDBMS platform, Good understanding of Explain plan, Execution Plans and experience in Analysing TKPROF output and analysing AWR / ASH report
Unit testing implementation for scripts
Desirable:
Any Project Management Tool
Knowledge of Sybase Replication server/Oracle Dataguard/Oracle GoldenGate will be an added advantage
knowledge on Windows, Linux, AIX operating systems
knowledge on UNIX commands and shell scripting
Experience in DevOps tools.
