As a member of the Customer Support team, the Technical Account Specialist (TAS) is responsible for the regional support activities including all three levels of support as needed. Driving the on-boarding processes for new customers on healthcare PolyJet and Origin products as part of new customer experience (CX) initiative. Providing advanced technical support of Stratasys products for field support engineers, customers, and resellers in Medical and Dental applications. Act as the liaison between the Field and the Product Support Management (PSM) team in HQ and be the technical representative for Customer Support to assist in the resolution of issues and escalations.
What you will be doing:
- Lead internal meetings centered on Priority Programs, providing updates on KPIs, engineering advancements, technical field news, training, and the specific needs as it relates to these programs
- Act as the principal technical point of contact for resellers, field service teams, and, in many instances, customers, offering essential guidance and assistance concerning a specific technology
- Address and resolve escalated specific technology issues by coordinating with relevant departments to ensure prompt and effective solutions against specific cases
- Collaborate with various departments including logistics, order management, TSS, Dispatch, and CSEs to uphold unparalleled customer service standards
- Pro-actively manage and contact customers as the CX representative for Healthcare PolyJet and Origin customers using the CX on-boarding mapping protocol
- Work with PSM in IL/AE Support teams to find solutions and implement
- Assist CSE’s in the understanding of Healthcare specific issues to improve field effectiveness against this vertical
Must have for this role:
- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of 5 years related experience, or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- 10 year field service experience installing and repairing: computer systems and electromechanical equipment
- Intermediate electro-mechanical proficiency
Nice to have:
- SL and Origin Certified Support or equivalent
- Computer systems experience will include good working knowledge of hardware and software installation, diagnostic analysis, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in computer operating systems is required as well as smartphones, and other mobile computing devices
- Familiar with standard Microsoft applications (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Computer experience utilizing CAD/CAM, office productivity and database software applications is also highly desirable
- Experience with hand tools, test equipment such as multi-meter, computers with Stratasys’ application software
- Self-reliant; strong professional people skills
- Ability to prioritize and schedule duties ranging over multiple disciplines
- Ability to work well independently or with others
