Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer with a strong technical background, customer obsession and bias for action with a track record of leading and delivering robust solutions quickly. In this role, you will:* Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available distributed systems for speech recognition and associated machine learning workflows.
* Own and evolve the MLOps pipelines that power the training, evaluation, and deployment of our models.
* Build robust quality monitoring and alerting systems to ensure reliable end-user experiences.
* Collaborate closely with research scientists, product managers, and other engineering teams to drive the roadmap and deliver innovative voice capabilities.
* Mentor more junior engineers and help grow the technical expertise of the team.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in speech technology, machine learning, and cloud infrastructure.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Expertise in software design, data modeling, and system architecture
- Strong background in machine learning, data engineering, and MLOps
- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python and Java
- Hands-on experience with modern Data Engineering and MLOps frameworks
