As a Power and Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing power management strategies to enhance the energy efficiency and performance of our devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products deliver an optimal balance between power consumption and performance.Responsibilities:� Develop and implement power and performance optimization strategies for Linux and Android-based systems.� Conduct system-level analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.� Proficiency with benchmarking tools like Geekbench, FIO, Antutu, and performance analysis tools such as simpleperf and Perfetto.� Strong debugging abilities, including expertise in utilizing various tools and analyzing logs for issue resolution� Collaborate with software, hardware, and system teams to define power and performance requirements.� Design and execute benchmarking and profiling activities to measure system performance and power consumption.� Optimize kernel and user-space components for power efficiency without compromising performance.� Analyze power and performance trade-offs and provide recommendations to stakeholders.� Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in power management and performance optimization.� Solid understanding of the suspend/resume mechanisms within Linux and Android operating systems.- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electronics Engineer- Hands on experience systems software development (at the intersection of hardware and software), Android, Linux, Device Drivers, Virtualization technologies expertise with at least 10 years of industry experience.- Strong competence in operating Systems - Android, Linux, distributed computing - Proficient in programming using languages such as C, C++, Java, Python etc.- Strong System Debugging Skills- Experience in leading projects and execution of large programs, SCRUM, AGILE.- Collaborative with Good Interpersonal Communication.- Ability to work well in a Diverse team environment.We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
