Role Responsibilities
- Run a molding machine to produce livestock identification tags as per SOP.
- Troubleshoot and perform adjustments of equipment.
- Ensure all assigned equipment and components are staged for the assigned operation.
- Maintain documentation and other duties as assigned.
- Understand and comply with Company's procedures with regards to health, safety, and environment.
- Ensure fulfillment of order without any delay as well as ensuring OK quality goods.
- Ensure mold are well maintained and PM is done as per plan and requirement.
- Train new employees in a buddy system training operation to perform tasks at all levels below the level for which the laser operator has been qualified.
- Accomplish the production of Livestock identification tags which meets engineering and customer requirements.
- Watch for and take prompt action, including shutting down the work- station temporarily, when operational malfunctions are seen which could jeopardize the quality of the tags being produced. Inspect equipment and communicate the need for repairs or replacements to production supervisor.
- Be able to maintain a required and acceptable daily output as determined by the job and machine worked on.
- Train and coach new employees.
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
- Foster and maintain a positive work environment.
- SAP/MES knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience
- PGD-PPT, DPT, DPMT, diploma or degree in technical field from Cipet (Central institute of plastic engineering and technology) or any other reputed institute.
- 5-8 years of experience in injection Moulding Dept.
- Strong leadership and team spirit.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer knowledge mandatory.
- Able to write emails, reports, and work instructions in English.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with all levels of personnel and outside vendors.
