Job responsibilities

• Executes security solutions design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to apply knowledge of existing security solutions to satisfy security requirements for internal clients (e.g., product, platform, application owners)
• Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Applies specialized tools (e.g., vulnerability scanner) to analyze and correlate incident data to identify, interpret, and summarize the probability and impact of threats when determining specific vulnerabilities
• Leads delivery of continuity-related awareness, training, educational activities, and exercises
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on security engineering solutions concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Experience developing security engineering solutions
• Proficient in coding in one of more languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Experience building scalable data pipelines using Spark (SparkSQL) with Airflow scheduler/executor framework or similar scheduling/orchestration tools that are highly optimized with very large data sets.
• Hands on experience using big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, HBase, Spark, EMR, etc.)
• Has the abilityworking with MPP frameworks like presto, trino, impala etc
• Demonstrates strong knowledge working with AWS bigdata services (Glue, EMR, Lake Formation,Redshift) or similar Apache projects (Spark, Flink, Hive, and Kafka).
• Working knowledge of AWS products such as: Key Management, EC2 Compute, S3 Storage, Relational Database Service (RDS), AWS Networking & Content delivery (VPC, Route 53, ELB, etc.) Identity & Access Management, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling, Cost and Usage Reports
• Experience with building stream-processing systems, using solutions such as Storm or Spark-Streaming

• Knowledge of data engineering solutions
• Knowledge of AWS products: (EC2 Compute, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda etc)
