Position Overview:
As a Forwarding Expert, you will be a part of the Supply Chain teams, responsible for operating and managing international deliveries. You’ll report to the Export/Import Team Leader and have full responsibility for all site deliveries
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Inbound and Outbound Deliveries
- Collaborating with Various Teams: Sales Ops, Marketing, IT, Labs, Training, HQ, Purchasing, and Vendors.
- Demonstrated Customer Service Excellence: Proven track record of setting and meeting customer service objectives.
- Efficient Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of Forwarding Experience: Demonstrated expertise in forwarding, including exposure to international shipping, different shipping carriers, incoterms, and dangerous goods shipments.
- Proficient in Shipment Handling: Experienced in handling shipments and interfacing extensively with internal customers.
- Systems Proficiency: Familiarity with NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Proficient in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Commitment and Accountability: You understand that a task isn’t complete until it’s seen through from start to finish.
- Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Enjoy working with team members and welcome interactions with anyone.
- Thrives in High-Pressure Environments: Able to deliver results even under pressure.
- Education and Certifications: Holds a college degree and relevant certifications in Supply Chain.
