In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives related to business analysis and modeling, including those that are cross functional, with broad impact, and act as key participant in data aggregation, monitoring, and reporting of stress testing and portfolio analysis for Risk Analytics
- Review and analyze complex programing models to extract data and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling specific to businesses supported
- Manage the roll out of pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models for supported businesses and product line
- Make decisions in complex product strategies, data modeling, and risk exposure, requiring solid understanding of business unit projects and regulatory responses, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead Analytic and Reporting to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with peers, less experienced to more experienced managers, to resolve production, project, and regulatory issues, and achieve risk analysts, and common modeling goals
- Lead projects, teams, and mentor
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Product Management, Business Transformation, Data Management, Analytics, Reporting, Management Consulting, Project Management, Strategic Planning, or Technology experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 3+ years of professional experience working directly with Technology teams in managing agile delivery of a product or business intelligence and reporting capacity
- Experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly related to Lending, Credit, and/or Risk Management
- Awareness to one or more of CAR (Credit Analysis & Reporting), Consumer financial products, General Ledger data, FRY14Q
- Familiarity with database tools like TERADATA, SQL, DREMIO, Spark, Toad, etc.
- Ability to lead project teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute to strategic decisions and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Develop consensus and gain buy-in for strategic priorities.
- Strong project management skills with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Strong ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional area.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Job Expectations:
- Leading the research, design, execution, and implementation of multiple new credit risk data infrastructure and analytics products aimed at solving critical business problems
- Partnering closely with CRIT data infrastructure, data management, reporting, and governance teams to harness expertise critical in defining and delivering new capabilities
- Owning roadmap and backlog for a given product; define features, user stories, and release plans to achieve overall product vision
- Attending formal and informal agile ceremonies, including but not limited to sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, daily standups, and big room sessions
- Credit Business Intelligence responsibilities may include:
- Leading tactical development on data infrastructure to support stakeholder analytics needs
- Delivering innovative solutions and driving best practices in data management
- Partnering with key Business and Credit Risk business stakeholders to understand, interpret, and act on analytics needs
- Owning critical, recurring production data responsibilities
