Key Qualifications
- 10-15+ years experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings
- Optimally builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
- Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
- Analyses sophisticated, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to optimally tackle problems
- Understands internal and external partner requirements, expectations, and needs
- Experience in media relations and a network of media contacts in entertainment, creative, tech, design and cultural platforms in Japan
- Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have built meaningful impact
- Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology
- Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to work with ambiguity and on sophisticated topics across multiple jurisdictions
- Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under timelines, adapting quickly to change
- Proficiency in Japanese and business-level English required
Education & Experience
BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
