10-15+ years experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency or corporate settings
Optimally builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization
Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
Analyses sophisticated, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to optimally tackle problems
Understands internal and external partner requirements, expectations, and needs
Experience in media relations and a network of media contacts in entertainment, creative, tech, design and cultural platforms in Japan
Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have built meaningful impact
Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology
Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Able to work with ambiguity and on sophisticated topics across multiple jurisdictions
Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under timelines, adapting quickly to change
Proficiency in Japanese and business-level English required
Education & Experience
BS/BA or equivalent experience preferred
