- Align yourself with sectors that you are passionate about, with the support of the senior leadership team, driving opportunities to enhance your experiences and expertise
- Work with the national TRS team on market leading restructuring assignments, including medium and large insolvency appointments
- Work across restructuring and turnaround engagements through early intervention projects such as independent business reviews, financial sustainability and counterparty reviews, and liquidity reviews
- Have the opportunity to work with the other teams across Strategy and Transactions such as Infrastructure Advisory, Transaction Diligence, Valuations and Business Modelling, Real Estate Advisory, Debt Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions, as needed to provide the best possible solution for our clients
Your key responsibilities
- Lead medium turnaround and restructuring assignments planning on behalf of the engagement director and Partner to include defining the scope of work, clearing conflicts, budgeting issues and dealing with staff planning
- Deliver detailed financial and commercial analysis, identify key issues and potential areas of sensitivity and following these up with management or stakeholders as appropriate
- Drafting presentations to stakeholders and assisting with delivery
- Proactively share technical knowledge with team, play a key role in team training
- Lead business development activities to sell work through development of internal and external client relationship networks
- Deliver a high degree of client satisfaction with the engagement process and work products sufficient to drive additional and repeated engagements
- Successfully supervise, coach, and mentor all levels of staff
What we’re looking for

- Have completed a degree in commerce, economics or law (or equivalent)
- At least 4 years of related work experience with a track record of strong performance in restructuring/advisory work either on behalf of creditors or distressed companies
- CA qualified (or equivalent)
- Already hold, or willing to complete the ARITA (Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association) qualification
- An aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Passionate in making a positive contribution to our community
- Strong communication skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to client service
