What you’ll do

We are actively seeking skilled developers to join our team, with a particular emphasis on integrating advanced computing techniques into the ABAP language and environment. As a C++ or ABAP developer specializing in programming languages and compiler design, you will be entrusted with applying innovative advanced computing solutions to enhance ABAP's language and programming paradigms.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our compiler and virtual machine development teams to enhance the ABAP programming language by analyzing industry trends in programming languages and identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Work closely with experts in computational techniques to customize solutions for specific programming use cases, with a focus on ensuring code robustness, detecting errors, and optimizing performance.
• Provide expert guidance and support to developers and clients seeking to integrate advanced ABAP features into their development workflows.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant coursework and certifications.
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly C/C++ or Rust.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Demonstrating programming skills and problem-solving capabilities through personal or academic projects is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital, emphasizing the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Fluency in both German and English is a prerequisite for this role.
