We are seeking professional candidates with gas turbine or thermal generation power plant knowledge and experience to lead power generation projects for electric power utility clients. Your primary responsibilities will be to provide engineering and consulting services for electric utility clients seeking to develop new power generation resources including new gas fired simple or combined cycle power plant facilities.Experience in consulting, design, design management and project management will be highly regarded, as will experience in Owner’s Engineer roles or contract management, and advisory (technical advisor/due diligence) roles as well as strategic project development experience. Office based, remote or hybrid positions are available.
- Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering discipline
- At least 8 years of design, consulting, construction, commissioning and/or operations experience in the power generation market
- Experience in overseeing execution of thermal generation power plant projects through various phases of development from planning to commercial operation.
- Proven ability to engage and develop strong working relationships with both clients, EPC contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Proven ability to provide advisory services to ensure compliance to project specifications, engineering codes, and best engineering practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate inter-disciplinary engineering deliverables such as plans, manuals, reports, procedures, calculations, specifications, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, drawings, records, and other relevant documents related to a thermal generation power plant.
- Strong communication and technical writing skills

- Cogeneration or combined heat and power system experience
- Design, construction, operation or maintenance of gas turbine power plants or any other thermal generation power plants
- Professional engineering license
