​Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Architect and build core components of eBay search experiment and analysis platform.
• Design and deliver highly scalable and supportable search infrastructure.
• Produce high quality and well-documented code.
• Produce high quality software designs to support long-term maintainability and extensibility of code.

Job Requirements:

• Smart, quick learning, proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Solid knowledge about data structure and algorithms; Proficient in Java programming.
• Hands-on experience with full software development cycle, particularly in distributed computing, large scale system design, multi-threading and concurrency.
• Experience with open source technologies like Zookeeper, SPARK, Kafka, etc.
• Familiar with Machine Learning algorithms, proficiency with a deep learning framework such as TensorFlow. Having the experience of embedding based retrieving and ranking is a big plus
• Good communication skills.
• BS/BA or above in CS or related field. Master’s degree and above is preferred.
